Armorama.com: One of the most popular destinations on the 'Net. Over 200k unique visitors a month and 40k+ registered users. Site includes sections for Reviews, News, and includes magazine-quality feature articles and model displays.
Do It Yourself-Inexpensive Light Tent: Many scale model builders struggle with taking photos of their builds to share with others online. This site shows you how to build your own light tent or photo booth quickly and cheaply using a cardboard box and simple tools and materials.
FineScale Modeler (FSM): FineScale Modeler magazine hosts these forums. The link takes you directly to the Armor forum but it is not the only one that FSM provides since they cater to the wider scale model building community as a whole and not just armor.
German Vehicle Numbering: Quick reference for deciphering the meaning of the three digit and similar vehicle numbering system used on German vehicles during WW2.
Military Modelling: Forum hosted by Military Modelling Magazine out of the UK. Site also includes reviews, news, and reference sections.
Missing-Lynx: One of the oldest if not the oldest online communities available. A great resource for researching information and seeing masterful work on display.
Modeler's Social Club: A laid-back friendly forum with members interested in all types of scale model building. A welcome place to hang-out and discuss the hobby with other styrene addicts.
Perth Military Modeling Site (PMMS): PMMS is one of the premier sites for new scale model kit release news and reviews of new kits.
Planet Armor: Another large group of scale model builders, this forum emphasizes "build log" type of posts/threads through their vBench section.
Panzer Tracts: Panzer Tracts is the reference series produced by Thomas Jentz and Hillary Doyle and is focused on German armor and AFV development programs from World War Two.
Redleg-2-Scale: The home site for Mike Del Vecchio, this is an excellent resource for builders interested in U.S. artillery and armored vehicles.
Track-Link: Another long-standing community of scale model armor builders, also a great resource for research and interaction.

Photo links to full size kit posters showing built-up kits.; Home page includes links to news, new products, and hot products in the AFV Club/Hobby Fan catalog. Fair warning, the site is difficult to navigate beyond the home page.
Bronco Models 1/35 Armor Catalog: Catalog of 1/35 scale model vehicle and figure kits. Links include short descriptions of kit subjects and individual sprue shots of kit contents.; Complete catalog of Dragon (DML) and Cyberhobby (referenced under DML kit #s) kits in all scales and genres, sub-divided by scale and series with separate links for older kits produced under Shanghai Dragon and "Other Dragon" listings. Text lists with matching links where available to kit descriptions, CAD posters, and MSRP prices.
Fine Molds 1/35 IJA Tank Series: The site is in Japanese, so using Google Translator or similar is a must unless you can read Japanese! Full catalog of Fine Molds 1/35 scale model Imperial Japanese Army vehicles and figures.
Hobby Boss 1/35 Armored Vehicles: Photo catalog with text in Chinese, so using Google Translator or similar is a must. Links include in-box photos of contents and sprue shots.
ICM Holdings 1/35 Vehicles: Catalog of available kits with focus on softskins and artillery. Site is in Russian but has an English translation button built in.
Italeri 1/35 Military Vehicles: Catalog of available vehicles across multiple genres. Links include in-box photos of contents and sprue shots as well as built-up models.
Masterbox Ltd Catalogue of Models: Masterbox specializes primarily in 1/35 scale model figure sets but also has some softskins and other accessories available. Photo based catalogue with supporting photos showing sets built-up and some with CAD drawings.
Meng Models: A relatively new player on the scene, Meng's first kits provided 1/35 scale models of "technical" vehicles seen in the Libyan Arab Spring conflict. They have since branched out into exotic WW2 tank subjects and modern vehicles.
Miniart 1/35 WWII Military Miniatures: Complete catalog listing including items that are out of production (OOP) as well as new items not yet released. Miniart focuses heavily on figures but also provides kits of softskins, tanks, and artillery.
Tamiya 1/35 scale Military Miniatures Catalog: Picture-based catalog of all of Tamiya's 1/35 scale model military miniature offerings. Single photos of built-up kits and/or figure sets provided.
Tasca Full Catalog: Tasca is renowned for their Sherman series of kits but also offers accessory and equipment sets.
Tristar 1/35 Products: Text list of Tristar's full catalog including figures, vehicles, and accessory sets. Links provide multiple photos of the built up set/vehicle.
Trumpeter 1/35 scale Armor Series: Trumpeter catalog of 1/35 scale armor models across multiple genres. Photos of box art or actual vehicles combined with individual sprue shots of kit contents.
Zvezda Military WW2 1/35: This site is in Russian but does have an English translation built in. Short descriptions provided along with photos of sprues and kit contents.

Lucky Model: Based in Asia, Lucky Model can often locate harder to find items not available from other suppliers. Be forewarned though, an item status of "Available" on this site does not mean "In Stock".
RZM Imports: Excellent source for reference material including hard to find titles. They also carry a wide selection of Model Kasten workable tracks.
Sprue Brothers Models: Sprue Brothers is based in the central US and only lists real-time inventory and features fast order turnaround and shipping.
